To bridge the digital divide and for Yobe state to effectively join the emerging national economy necessitated the creation of Yobe state Information Technology Development Agency (YITDA). The State government approved the policy through executive order in June 2022.
Our primary responsibility is to foster, control, and provide guidance on Information Technology within the state, achieved through the establishment of regulatory standards, guidelines, and policies.
