Women in Tech Hub is an initiative of the Yobe Information Technology Development Agency (YITDA) dedicated to empowering, educating, and inspiring women and girls to actively participate and excel in the technology ecosystem. The Hub serves as a center of innovation, mentorship, and digital capacity building, providing women with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s tech-driven world. Through a variety of programs—including coding bootcamps, digital literacy training, entrepreneurship development, mentorship sessions, and tech community engagements—the Hub aims to bridge the gender gap in technology and promote inclusivity across all ICT sectors. Our mission is to create a sustainable pipeline of female tech talents who can contribute meaningfully to the digital transformation agenda of Yobe State and Nigeria at large. By fostering collaboration, creativity, and confidence, the YITDA Women in Tech Hub stands as a catalyst for innovation, leadership, and socio-economic empowerment of women through technology.
