YITDA Weekly Activities

As part of our mandate under His Excellency, The Digital Governor Hon. (Dr) Mai Mala Buni's digitalization agenda, the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency (YITDA) is committed to digitalizing all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in Yobe State and deploying the necessary resources to support them.

This week, we held productive meetings with the heads of the following MDAs:

1. Ministry of Women Affairs

2. State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB)

3. Yobe State School of Nursing Sciences

Our meeting with the Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry of Women Affairs focused on creating a Women in Tech Hub for the state. This hub will be dedicated to training and supporting young women by providing them with the necessary resources and an enabling environment to showcase their innovative solutions.

Our meetings with the Chairman of SUBEB and the Provost of the School of Nursing focused on practical implementation of the digitalization agenda. The discussions primarily centered on deployment of YITDA's softwares, Providing reliable internet access, Capacity building and other essential digitalization initiatives.
